DK Welchman and Hugh Welchman co-write and direct this Polish drama based on the novel by Wladyslaw Reymont. In 19th century Poland, a young woman named Jagna (Kamila Urzedowska) longs to pursue something greater than what the close-knit village community can provide for her.
