At a young age Sarah learned a special talent that her friends did not have. She discovered that she had the rare ability to transform into a werewolf at will and roam the forest - free, but forever alone. As she reaches 17, Sarah has learned to accept her curse and sees herself as protector of the humans that feared and hated her for what she was. As she emotionally begins to drift away from humanity, confused about whether she is monster or human, larger problems shove their way into her life. She finds that she isn't the only existing monster and that not all monsters are as docile. Sarah soon finds herself in the middle of an age-old, underground war between prehistoric monsters and the human race.
