Water resources engineering and management is becoming one of the major concerns in the society. Accurate planning and management of this valuable resource is a determinative factor in its conservation and sustainable use. In order to achieve this goal, precise modelling and forecasting methods are required to come up with a reliable and comprehensive plan and management design. Time series modelling and Neuro-Fuzzy approach are in the light as powerful modelling paradigms in hydrologic context, although they are case-specific models. These models are explained and compared with each other in this book with focus on ARIMA from the class of model-driven models and ANFIS from the class of data-driven models. Water level modelling and forecasting of the urban rivers that are extremely crucial to the society in the sense of direct effect on urbanization and development is focused in this research book. The present book investigates the applicability of afore-mentioned models in water level modelling in the case of Klang River, Malaysia.
