In 1967 the Truants were a local legend, a prep-school garage band with a vanity album. But decades after they split up, a collector has paid $10,000 for a rare copy of their one and only record. And though they're staring fifty in the face, the Truants may finally have a shot at becoming bona fide rock 'n' roll deities. But divorce lawyer Richie has to stop seducing clients with karaoke. Dermatologist John must tear himself away from would-be patients who insist on showing him their posteriors at parties. Tim must fearlessly bring his hidden drum kit out of the attic. Brian has to abandon the thesis he's been "completing" for twenty-five years. And they'll all have to hunt down Jerry- a gambling addict with a serious artificial sweetener jones- last seen en route to the Caymans with $1 million taped to his body. But all must suffer who wish to sing the blues- especially five walking, talking midlife crises desperately searching for a long-lost harmony.
