Ghislain Tshilombo holds a masters degree in metallurgy from the University of Pretoria (2006) and Bachelor degree in metallurgy from the University of Lubumbashi in DRC (1999). He joined CSIR in 2007 as researcher in Materials Science and Manufacturer where he conducts research in extractive metallurgy. Currently, he is working on titanium project. He was Lecturer at the Chemical and Metallurgical department of Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) from 2004 to 2007. He worked as Engineer in training from 2000 to 2001 in DRCongo. He conducted some researches in various field of extractive metallurgy: hydrometallurgy, mineral processing and pyrometallurgy and produced some related articles in referred journal. He is Member of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
