The overall growth of digital and technological progress is enhanced or constrained by people's skills, behaviors and attitudes. The challenge of balancing the digital dimension with humans situated into specific contexts, relations, networks is resulting in a growing interest on how people use and react to digital innovation. Accordingly, this book contains a collection of research papers focusing on the human side of digital innovation management with a specific attention to what people say and share on social media, how they react to the adoption of spespecific IT tools, and the effect of digital innovation on sustainability and inclusion. The plurality of views offered makes this book particularly relevant for users, companies, scientists and governments. The content of the book is based on a selection of the best papers - original double-blind peer reviewed contributions - presented at the annual conference of the Italian chapter of AIS which took place in Milan, Italy, in October 2017.
