Used traditionally by herbalists as a folk remedy for a wide variety of conditions, including dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, sores, warts, corns, ringworm, scabies, herpes, skin cancer, asthma, dysmenorrheal, epilepsy, malaria, abortifacients, heart tonics, leprosy and tumors.
