I must have lived a few lifetimes before this.
Because this love I carry for you,
it induces a sense of nostalgia for a time and a place
I've only seen bits and pieces of
immersed in your soft, unyielding, eyes.
And from listening to the way it speaks of you
with such clarity and wisdom,
I know it is very well acquainted with age.
