On 9 July 2015, this large scale participative event will take place in fire stations all around the world. Government leaders, sports stars, veterans but most of all common people visit the Menin Gate Memorial every day. Philip Vanoutrive spent one year photographing this impressive tradition. Ian Connerty wrote the story, enriched with unique archive photos.
