Growth is a book of poems dedicated to telling the story of the controversial, and yet fascinating relationship between the person and their character. We often fight with our self because we do know who we are, but there is growth in learning who our personal self is, allowing us to not only become closer to our character's Influence, but also to every other mind experiencing our exquisitely complex nature.
The author, in this ode to his mind, creatively reviews his personal struggle to define, re-educate, and manage his inward person. The result is the vision of a beautiful marriage between the intellectual, refined, and sensitive parts of a human being displaying true and sincere affection for their self.
