The author, a retired engineer at the leading edge of the Boomer generation, expresses strong curiosity and concern about what the world will be like for his two Gen Alpha god-granddaughters. Given the challenges today confronting humankind, yet in light of the great and continuing advances in science and technology, their world and that of their progeny will be so different as to be unrecognizable if we could time travel into their future. The author conjectures that his two granddaughters might live far beyond 100 years, possibly living centuries! His concern is that humans and nature - the two as one - are at a tipping point. Will humankind finally be able to overcome ignorance, hatred, and confusion? Will we begin soon to heal Mother Nature? The outcome of these predicates will surely determine future civilization.
