Their well-intended scheme is tested when a traveling family from Eda is attacked while seeking Serpentine's most sought-after treasure. The explosive event sparks a takeover of the transport sites on the planet by otherworld Protectors. In a flash, war breaks out between two races, threatening the lives of the people in a nearby village.
Running an Empire and maintaining a harmonious balance between people is more difficult than the Twins imagined. Their grandparents made the leadership task look so easy. But without supernatural intervention, the overwhelmed Twins could lose Serpentine to malicious factions.
