Wise and experienced people have said that it is better not to engage in actions that give rise to remorse, which cannot be undone. Happiness that does not benefit everyone is a curse. And that curse brings about such sorrow and disaster from which there is no escape. In the novel "Ei Aborte" by author Pranati Chattopadhyay, the two main characters, Abhi and Sarasi, are talented individuals who, believing in the mantra "I can have everything, everything is my right," become involved in a forbidden relationship, plunging into a pit of remorse from which they cannot find a way out. One waits for the end day by day, while the other exhausts themselves searching for an anchor across countries. And the fire they ignited scorches the people around them.
In this ruthless life story, whom will the readers side with, whom will they sympathize with? Bidisha, Bipasha, Chinmoyi, Shami, Karuna, Sudhakar-or Abhik Sen or Sarasi? To find the root of injustice and wrongdoing, one must navigate the labyrinth of the wrongdoer's mind.
