The Battle of Waterloo will pit the two greatest commanders of the age against each other for the first time and will mark the climax of 22 years of incessant warfare. For Royal Marine Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Pennywhistle, it will mark the end of a dozen years of struggle against Napoleon.
