This textbook offers the ore of the majority chemical elements for the first time, with their basic properties, and the most important industrial minerals, including their novelest applications and recycling opportunities, with many photos.
This book represents the culmination of a comprehensive pedagogical and successful project carried out by the Valent Masachs Geology Museum and the Universitat Politcnica de Catalunya (UPC) (Polythecnic University of Catalonia) during the last years. This book results after multiple requests from university professors and other teaching roles. It will help grow a new society where the people use the Earth's natural resources with responsibility and respect for the environment.
Keep in mind that we aren't the latest Earth inhabitants, a great but yet depletable planet!
